The Naturalistic Neuroscience day (16th July) is fully supported by the Discovery Research Platform for Naturalistic Neuroimaging – a Wellcome-funded initiative. It aims to overcome barriers in the field of neuroscience by providing the tools needed to better understand how the brain processes information as people engage with the real world.

The Quantum Biomedical Sensing (Q-BIOMED) Research Hub is an exciting new multidisciplinary centre at the forefront of biomedical innovation. Our mission is to pioneer the next generation of quantum sensors to revolutionise the early diagnosis and treatment of diseases such as cancer and Alzheimer’s.
Uniting world-leading expertise in quantum science and biomedicine from six universities, NHS trusts, and a network of charity, government, and industry partners, the Q-BIOMED Hub will accelerate the development of new quantum sensors for medical imaging, ultra-sensitive quantum-enhanced in-vitro diagnostics, novel surgical treatment interventions and quantum sensing technologies for basic biomedical research.

Cerca Magnetics is a Biomagnetic Imaging company formed in 2020 to commercialise OPM-MEG technology. As publications from customers in Europe and North America have demonstrated, our fully integrated and wearable system yields high quality MEG data and provides researchers opportunities that were previously inaccessible, such as lifespan compliance and movement studies.

MAG4Health is a company co-founded in 2021, aiming at contributing to the wide dissemination of the MEG neuroimaging by raising technical constraints and reducing costs. MAG4health proposes an fully integrated OPM MEG system based on a quantum technology providing sensors working at room temperature (no heat dissipation, no cooling), with a large badnwidth (DC – 2 KHz), a large dynamic (+/- 200 nT) and a self compensation (closed loop mode) on the three axes of the sensor. OPM MEG headcap is flexible, such as an EEG cap, to well fit all head sizes and shapes and optimize the distance between the sensors and the brain sources.

Brainbox, the leading global provider of integrated non-invasive brain stimulation and imaging solutions. With their extensive portfolio, decades of experience, and a collaborative approach in implementing innovative technologies and solutions, Brainbox enables world-class neuroscience research in both clinical and academic environments.

FieldLine Medical has developed HEDscan, a complete OPM-MEG system that connects hardware and software in one Turn-Key solution. Systems can be customized to meet the needs of the user and expandable up to 144 sensors (288 Channels).
Through partnering with the research and medical communities, we believe that magnetoencephalography (MEG) technology can shape a better future for diagnosis and treatment of brain disorders. We welcome the opportunity to discuss how we can work with you to provide solutions in support of this mission.
