MEG-UKI serves as a platform for researchers working on hardware development, analysis methods, cognitive neuroscience, and clinical applications to connect and share their work in the field of Magnetoencephalography.
The UCL Department of Imaging Neuroscience is hosting this year’s MEG-UKI conference at the Mary Ward House in London. The event will span three days, with the first day (16th July) dedicated to naturalistic experiments, the remaining two days (17th and 18th of July) will be focused on a broad scope meeting on cutting-edge MEG methodology and application to cognitive/clinical neuroscience.
About “naturalistic neuroscience” day – 16th July:
As brain research increasingly shifts toward studying neural activity in more naturalistic settings, new technologies are being developed — and existing ones adapted — to meet this challenge. The first day of MEGUKI will highlight cutting-edge experiments leveraging neuronal signals (EEG, OP-MEG, fNIRS) to investigate brain and spinal function in real-world-like contexts. Our keynote speakers, Professor Dominik Bach and Dr Jamie A. Ward, will share their insights and latest research in this exciting area. We hope this day will inspire and connect researchers who are pushing the boundaries of naturalistic neuroscience.
